This week I’m still a bit exhausted from my giant, three-part post last week. Also, the thought of deconstructing Taylor Swift and her feminism (or lack thereof) makes me feel kind of faint. So instead I’m going to take the easy way out amplify a message I’m particularly fond of, and suggest that everyone read this piece by Barbara Sostaita. It’s a guide to social activism on college campuses, but it also reads as an excellent basic primer for social activism in general. It’s a reminder to us all that a lot of different issues deserve our attention, and that there are many different forms that our activism can take. So everyone remember to keep your intersectional social justice warrior hats on basically all the time.
